Timeshare resort developers, for the express benefit of their
owners, usually affiliate their resorts to one of two very large
international exchange companies, so that they can exchange throughout
the world to other resorts of the same standard. However, a significant
number of owners in Great Britain now prefer not to travel overseas.
Perhaps they don't like to fly anymore, or they don't want the
sun, or maybe they want to take their dog with them, or they prefer
to explore Britain's great heritage, or whatever. In any event
exchanging within the UK does mean that by simply jumping into
the car, the cost of the holiday is also reduced. Unfortunately
they discovered this could be a problem for them because worldwide
demand for exchanges into the UK far outstrips the availability
of supply.
The solution to this problem was solved as far back as 1991 when
UKRE was created to help such owners. Operating an exchange membership
service that is not affiliated to any resort we enjoy good relations
with most UK resorts who perceive that we are considerably helping
a particular section of their owners. We believe that the satisfaction
of getting an exchange into the UK keeps otherwise potentially
disgruntled owners happy; and in the last decade or so, we have
steadfastly increased our service levels to a forever-growing number
of new members.
With over one hundred luxurious resorts in the British Isles,
the greatest benefit to our members is that members depositing
their UK week with us, know that it will not be given to anyone
for exchange other than another UKRE member who has also deposited
their UK week. Consequently and somewhat uniquely, we guarantee
